These care tips will keep your hinges supple and beautiful for the long term
We have equipped our hinges for Land Rover Defender and Mercedes-Benz G-Class with grease nipples as standard and milled a thick spiral groove in the retaining bolt so that the grease can be optimally distributed. These are ideal conditions for smooth running and long service life. But this requires a little care, which you should perform 2-3 times a year. In this video we show you the two small steps to take care of the hinges in the best possible way.
STEP 1 - Clean with a little lubricating oil
Simply spray commercial lubricating oil such as WD-40 on the hinges and in the screw recesses, distribute well with a soft cloth and thus free the hinge from deposits and dirt. The oil film also provides good protection from the elements.
STEP 2 - Press down with grease
